Sadly, the Brownsville School which the Class of 1974 attended is gone. It's last school year was 1999-2000. Students there were transferred to the new South Edmonson Elementary School, located in Chalybeate. The spirit of the old Brownsville school does, however, live on in the form of the mascot for the new school, which is also a Bulldog.

Some folks have said that they are concerned about their writing or spelling. So when you write please indicate to me to either post your piece as it is, or to "dress it up" for you. I'll send you back a copy for your approval before I post it.
